Siemens used a legacy system to propose financial deals. UK customers were not using the system due to its design and UX flaws and SFS UK were behind the SFS Europe by over 70%. I was tasked to come up with a new, simplified product that customers loved. It had to look good and function well. The new system, MySFS has received well over £1m in deals and initial user feedback has been extremely positive.
The existing product was clunky, hard-to-use and was in need of some serious overhaul.
My first step was to interview existing users to find out which features they did and didn't use or need, and to establish an MVP.
A clean and more straightforward design was needed to allow users to quickly make the deals.
